- To play a match, gamers require a minimum of 2 members (1 batsman NFT and 1 bowler NFT) in their team. The maximum size of the team is 4 members (1 batsman NFT and 3 bowler NFTs).
- If there is more than 1 bowler NFT on the team, then it is possible to switch bowlers between overs, allowing for variety in gameplay
- More cricketers on the team equate to better overall Team Strength
- For matchmaking, we’re working on pitting similarly skilled gamers against each other, ensuring fairer play.
- Match gamers with each other using Team Strength, Gamer Skill, and Experience
- Gamers need to use strategy when creating teams
- In Phase 1, Meta Cricket League will be a PvP multiplayer game.
- Gamers will need to skilfully time their shots to score runs and win matches
- Runs collected will be counted as points towards the leaderboard, with 4s and 6s giving extra points
- Winners of each match will collect bonus points on the leaderboard
- Gamers will receive Kit Bags on winning matches. These Kit Bags contain upgrades through which gamers can level up their cricketer NFTs.
- There will be different varieties of Kit Bags
- Each Kit Bag contains different types of cricketer NFT upgrades
- All metaverse cricketer NFTs can be upgraded to level 15. Rookie begins at Level 1, Rare starts at Level 5, Epic starts at Level 8, and Legend begins at Level 10.
- Gamers need to collect upgrades of a particular NFT to level up
- For every level, the number of upgrades needed will vary
- On leveling up a metaverse cricketer NFT, the in-game stats of that NFT gets improved impacting in-game performance and marketplace value.
- Leveled-up NFTs will have improved chances to outplay opponent NFTs
- MCL Signed Bat NFTs give additional bonuses to gamers in-game.
